Should You Use Diet Plans Together? Weight Watchers and Medifast Coupons
Medical science indicates that using diet plans together can be a good start but it is not advisable to continue in this way permanently. In effect, it is physically possible to use two different plans and the same time but you will lose out on many of the benefits of such things as raw vegetables and such.
Sticking to one diet plan allows you to keep complications minimal. For example, when you choose Weight Watchers PointsPlus, you couldn’t possibly have any idea how many “points” are associated with another plan’s food, such as Medifast. Complications compound until it gets confusing and then you will be sabotaging yourself. Failure will then be extremely close at hand.
Once confusion sets in, you go into burn out. This can happen with anything. Have you ever been at the office and had so many things to do that you didn’t know where to start? Your day will end up being fraught with confusion even before you get started. So, why would you want to complicate your life more by adding a confusing mix of diet regimens?
As just one example of combining WW and Medifast, look at the nutrition information in WW’s Smart Ones food with similar foods within the Medifast program. First, compare breakfasts. The Medifast cinnamon apple oatmeal consists of about 100 calories, 15 grams of carbs and 1 gram of sugar. On the other hand, WW’s English muffin sandwich has 210 calories, 27 grams of carbs and 3 grams of sugars. This means that one diet has nearly ½ the bad stuff as the other. This is one of the reasons why you will lose weight with Medifast quicker than with WW but, on the other hand, it can be more difficult to keep with Medifast because you don’t have as much selection.
With regards to selection, WW gives you many more recipe options than Medifast. WW allows you to set up your meals following a point system, which can be easier than only eating the foods that Medifast recommends. On the other hand, if you combine the two together, and can keep it straight, you will lose weight fast and still enjoy the foods that you love. You will end up being less likely to burn out when combining the two because you’ll have more options.
Fortunately, though, you can determine for yourself if you’d like to follow only one plan or both. With WW and Medifast coupons on your side, you’ll be able to see if one in particular is proper for your body or if you can do both and still have success. Be mindful, though, that research suggests that you need to wean yourself off of any diet into a permanent lifestyle change. Maybe you should look at that before deciding what to do.
