Sports people want to win....the only thing that could top winning is to win at home in the company of friends. The London 2012 Olympics are my opportunity to excel in the company of the world and of my home town…the Olympics are special…these games are gonna be extra special.

I can’t wait to begin racing this year – not only because I finished last year so well-but because it marks a new beginning, a new cycle and four years of opportunity for me to seize.

My race schedule is set out, the team around me is tight and I feel confident that 2009 is gonna be good :-)

The World Series, the World Series Final, the European champs, the World 70.3 champs and the French Grand Prix are all major aims but the British favourites are as prevalent because here I get to share glory with my team, family, friends and my sponsors.

Thanks to all my supporters. I am incredibly grateful to all prospective and current sponsors and would not and will not be able to achieve my potential without you- as I could not without my significant others. I hope I will bring us the success I believe we are capable of.
